Friday, 3rd May, a group of enthusiastic work colleagues left Cummins Engines Darlington to cycle 425 miles visiting
Cummins plants at Daventry and Huddersfield. This was to be no easy task, but their mission was to raise as much money as possible for two local charities, The Great North Air Ambulance and Zoe’s Place, a childrens hospice.
The role of K2U Therapies was to provide massage support and assist James, the driver of the support vehicle.
Through out the day we ensured an abundant supply of water, bananas and blueberry muffins was available along with the usual energy bars and drinks. Luggage was unloaded and into each hotel before the guys arrived.
Once full check-in was completed, my room was turned into a mini treatment room, backs, shoulders and legs all checked over and massaged, this would take place over two sessions, before and after a meal. It was a fantastic weekend and I am feel so privileged to have been able to support such a worthy cause.
